Begging for food...

This is how she looks when she begs. She is a really good girl, just waiting and sit prettily. We try to train her how to shake hands and give her a treat and so far she is doing well. She is learning new tricks! Isn't she pretty? Next week or next two weeks, we will get another puppy. It's another additional member of our family. She will be 8 weeks when we get her. She is an English Mastiff. So I will keep you posted when our new puppy arrive! We might name her a little Princess :-)

Pretty dog...

We got a lot of compliments on our new dog "SUGAR". Every body think she is very beautiful. She had like an Egyptian Eye, other think she has an eye liner around her eyes. She was born with it and that makes her really attractive I guess. She is very sweet  and playful. My kids really love her. Even though we lost our 3 dogs, our love for dogs will always continue...

He is very Interested in the movie...

Where watching Lassie Movie and guess who get very interested? It was Sugar, our 4 months old Anatolian Shepherd! He is really watching and her ears moves every time she hear Lassie and the other dog barks. Its nice to see her getting interested of what we are watching. :-)

Sugar playing ball...

Here's a video of Sugar playing with my 7 year old daughter. She really love playing ball! She keep coming to me and give me kisses. She looks big for a 4 months old isn't it? You see how happy she is to be in her new home! We have a big backyard for her to run around and play. ;-)

Her new toys

Look who's happy? We bought her a new toy. Something for her to chew around that way she won't get bored. She likes to chew our rag and furniture and now that she got her toy, hope she won't think about chewing the rag and furniture again. We still keep an eye on her all the time and she do good so far staying inside the house at night. She had couple accidents in the house but hopefully she will learn fast and do potty outside. It takes a lot of training when they are a puppy. It's like having a 3rd baby in the house... :-)

Her firs bath...

We arrive safely home and before we let her in, we gave her a bath! Both her and our female english Mastiff got their bath together. She was raised in the farm with her brother and the other dog. She was watching couple of the sheep. Since she was an outdoor dog, she brought ticks with her that's why we bought a tick powder and shampoo and we gave her a bath before she comes in, now she is squeaky clean! She will  be an indoor dog to us so she still need training for potty and train her not to chew things inside the house. So will see how she goes...

We will take her home from Oklahoma to Colorado!

She's a little bit shy, but she really love all the attention. My kids really enjoy taking her for a walk after a couple hours of driving. We try to stop every couple hours for potty break and we let her go run around and play. We stayed for the night at Casa Lemus, Raton and head back Sunday Morning. What a long drive but its worth it. She will going to love her new family now and we will do the best we can to give her all our love and will really treat her well. She is part of our family now.

Meet our new puppy (SUGAR) - Anatolian Shepherd

Hello, these blog is all about our new puppy. She's an AKC pure bred Anatolian Shepherd. She is from Muskugee Oklahoma City. We pick her up August 6, 2016. We are from Colorado and we go all the way to Oklahoma to pick her up. She is 4 months old and we named her "SUGAR CINNAMON". Why Sugar Cinnamon? Because we thought she is sweet and her color really match her name. We just lost 3 of our dogs in 2 months and we thought getting a new puppy will help us cope the loss. It was sad but without dogs in our house, feels very empty. She is such a good dog and she is very protective with our kids. So enjoy all her pictures while she is growing up and were looking forward to see how she will turn out when she grow up as a grown up dog!
