Two days ago, we found a symptom of intestinal blockage of one of our dogs. She's 20 months old English Mastiff, weight 163 lbs. Vomiting and lack of appetite is one of the symptoms. She throw up all her dinner, I think she throws up 4-5 times that night. After that she doesn't want to eat or drink anything. We notice behavioral changes on her, she looks very sad and weak. She doesn't want to play with the other dogs, she is just laying around and sleep and I notice this morning she was shivering so that worries me a lot. First thing we thought is that she did eat something that is big and its hard to digest. We usually feed them raw chicken legs and hotdogs, but I chop the chicken and hotdog into halves that night so I don't think that's the cause. But she throw up that night and starting not feeling well so yes, taking to the Vet is a good idea to find out right away what's going on. The surgery went well and we found out that the reason why she got a blockage, she swallowed the whole Collar. They took the collar out in her intestines! What a relief! Hope she gets well soon that way she can come home with us!
